Walter John Taggart, professor at the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, died on Oct. 29 at the age of 81, according to an obituary by the family.
Taggart was born on August 4, 1943, in Queens, New York, to Agnes Landewit Taggart and Walter John Taggart. He earned his law degree at Villanova University in 1968 after completing his undergraduate degree at Belmont Abbey College in North Carolina.
