Question: Is a violation of RPC 8.4(d) the vexatious multiplication of proceedings?

A: No. In ODC v. Pisanchyn, --A.3d.--, 2024 WL 4557857 (Pa Oct. 24, 2024), the respondent-attorney was referred by the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania to the Office of Disciplinary Counsel for violations for Pennsylvania's Rules of Professional Conduct for discipline related to an alleged seven ethical violations arising out of an underlying bad faith plaintiffs claim for approximately $1 million in fees. See, 42 Pa.C.S. 8371.
