Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott has nabbed another Big Law alum to join its C-suite, bringing on Mark Peterson, the former Reed Smith global director of financial intelligence, as chief financial officer.
Peterson, leaving after spending 21 years in five different information technology and analytics roles at Reed Smith, is the second Big Law C-suite addition for Eckert Seamans this year. The firm brought on a chief operating officer from DLA Piper at the start of the year, the first COO it has appointed in 10 years.
