- However, the state's fastest-shrinking firms dropped less in total head count, balancing out the slower growth.
This year was a sluggish year for growth in the Pennsylvania legal market, according to full-time attorney data gathered for the PA Law 100 in 2023 and 2024.
2023 was a year chock-full of double-digit growth for firms with offices Pennsylvania. Clark Hill topped the list as the fastest-growing firm in Pennsylvania in 2023, adding 41 attorneys with the help of an early-year merger with Conrad O’Brien. Compare that with 2024’s fastest-growing firm, Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, which only added 15 attorneys in Pennsylvania over the course of the year.
