A lawsuit recently filed against nearly a dozen food and beverage companies may mark the start of an emerging wave of litigation over the alleged health risks of consuming ultra-processed foods.
Attorneys with Morgan & Morgan and Seeger Weiss filed the suit on behalf of a Bucks County resident who claims he developed Type 2 diabetes and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease as a teenager from consuming ultra-processed foods made by the defendants.
