A loss of the Wolf Block name in Philadelphia, were the seemingly imminent merger deal with Florida-based Akerman Senterfitt to come to fruition, has been described with the same sentiment that Dow’s recent acquisition of Rohm & Haas brought forth.

Although the engineers who walk the plant and the attorneys who traverse the halls will, for the most part, remain, the loss of independence changes the respective landscapes a bit –– even if only for nostalgia’s sake.
