Sexual intercourse with a patient, consensual or not, is grounds for dismissal, according to the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court.
A unanimous three-judge panel has reversed a trial court’s order and vacated an arbitrator’s award, ruling that Temple University Hospital had just cause to fire a nurse who allegedly had sex with a patient.
