While Philadelphia Common Pleas President Judge C. Darnell Jones II won’t be finalizing his departure plans for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania federal bench until this week, his potential successors are making up their minds if they’re going to vie to succeed him.

At least two judges are definitely going to run for a chance to succeed Jones as leader of the common pleas bench for five years, and one more is thinking about it.
