Two Philadelphia men indicted in Puerto Rico on charges of conspiring with Puerto Rico Gov. Anibal Acevedo Vila to violate campaign finance laws have won a ruling that transfers the criminal charges against them to the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

U.S. District Judge Paul Barbadoro of the District of New Hampshire, who was specially assigned to the case, ruled that the two Philadelphia men — prominent fundraiser Robert M. Feldman and attorney Marvin Block, of Zarwin Baum DeVito Kaplan Schaer Toddy — should not be forced to travel to Puerto Rico to sit through a three-month trial in which only a fraction of the evidence will relate to the charges they face.
