Mayor Michael A. Nutter has included a request for $75 million to build a new Family Court building in a wish list of public projects that was presented by the U.S. Conference of Mayors to members of President-elect Barack Obama’s incoming administration last week.

The move revives hope that a very expensive and much-needed project might still get funding in a desperate economic time.
