Those were some of the more colorful subjects in the headlines of 2008 generated by cases in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania federal court.
It was a change year for the Eastern District as three new judges joined the court, a beloved magistrate judge died and a former chief judge left the bench to rejoin his former firm.
