It has been a tough week for members of the Philadelphia bench, with a Traffic Court judge reprimanded for soliciting campaign donations, a Municipal Court judge suspended for three months for issuing an extrajudicial stay-away order and a Common Pleas judge charged with using judicial resources to run his real estate investments.

Traffic Court Judge Willie F. Singletary was sanctioned with a public reprimand and probation by the state Court of Judicial Discipline Tuesday, according to counsel in the case.
