In a dramatic turn that has temporarily derailed the corruption trial of former state Sen. Vincent J. Fumo, prosecutors revealed Monday that one of their most anticipated witnesses — former Senate staffer Leonard Luchko — has been e-mailing with Fumo and other witnesses and posting comments on blogs under a pseudonym.

Luchko, who pleaded guilty in August to obstruction of justice charges, was expected to testify that Fumo ordered him to destroy years worth of e-mails because of an FBI probe.
