As a crowded field for this year’s statewide judicial elections takes shape, the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s judicial rating arm has released its first round of evaluations for the candidates.
Two candidates for a single vacant seat on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court — Superior Court Judges Jack A. Panella, a Democrat, and Cheryl Lynn Allen, a Republican — received “highly recommended” ratings Wednesday from the PBA Judicial Evaluation Commission.
