A number of other high-profile attorneys changed scenery last year, many of them ending long tenures to pursue new opportunities. And it didn’t always involve a move from one firm to another.

Some left firm life to go in-house and vice versa. Some rejoined private practice after stints on the bench. One even re-entered the private sector after a few years spent building an investment company overseas.
