An electrician who suffered spinal fractures in a fall while working on the construction of a condominium will be paid $1.2 million in a global settlement of his claims against a real estate developer and a carpentry firm.

According to court papers, plaintiff Martin Blash was assigned to work on the mezzanine level of the Chapel Lofts condominiums in a project to drill holes for wiring in the recently erected wooden frame.
