When Wolf Block voted to dissolve in late March, litigation partner Andrew Chirls began thinking about the next step in his career, talking to medium-sized firms as a solo lateral and entertaining discussions along with some of the groups of Wolf Block attorneys who joined other large firms.
“When you arrive at a moment when your 26-year career at a law firm ends, for me it was a chance to think about whether I wanted to do something completely different or be part of” one of the groups that joined other large firms, Chirls said.
