Saul Ewing expanded the size of its 12-lawyer Wilmington, Del., office by more than 50 percent this week with the addition of seven attorneys, including three partners, from Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney’s office there.

The group, led by litigation partner William Manning, includes commercial litigators, land use attorneys and bankruptcy attorneys. Manning will serve as co-office managing partner along with existing office managing partner Wendie C. Stabler and will also serve as co-chairman of the firm’s higher education practice. He currently serves as outside counsel for the University of Delaware.
