The most important thing I learned during my 2L summer I learned on the softball field. I can’t think of a less likely place to learn about the legal profession. Nevertheless, as I stood watching three outstanding lawyers giving CPR to a complete stranger, I couldn’t help but realize a subtle and yet obvious truth: lawyers are good people.

A little background: This summer I worked for a niche litigation firm in Philadelphia. Before I began any work for the firm, of course, I was introduced to my new colleagues.
