Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis bankruptcy attorney Barry E. Bressler was having a good afternoon Monday.
He, along with partners Richard A. Barkasy and Nancy Winkelman, and many others representing unsecured creditors in Chrysler’s bankruptcy, made one last-ditch effort before the U.S. Supreme Court this weekend to delay the sale of the company to Fiat and other buyers. And they won — at least as of Monday afternoon — thanks to a stay order issued late in the day by Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
