Karen Hedlund of Nossaman in Washington, D.C., has been appointed chief counsel of the Federal Highway Administration, a U.S. Department of Transportation agency.
For the last 14 years, Hedlund has practiced as a member of Nossaman’s infrastructure practice group, representing numerous public transportation agencies at the national, state, and regional level on innovative procurements and financings, and the development of related federal and state legislation.
