PHILADELPHIA (AP) — The parents of a toddler who died from being left in a hot van for more than six hours outside a Philadelphia-area day care center are suing the center and its owners.
The parents of 2-year-old Daniel Slutsky, Gil and Lyudmila Slutsky, are suing Fairy Tales Daycare Center in Penndel over the July 1 death. Their lawyer, Daniel Weinstock, said Wednesday that they’re suing to draw attention to the problem and make sure similar deaths won’t happen in the future.
