A federal judge granted final approval on Friday to a $7.8 million settlement in a court battle between one of the leading companies providing Internet-based marketing tools to real estate agents and a Pennsylvania company that was accused of stealing its copyrighted materials.

Under the terms of the settlement in ConsulNet Computing Inc. v. Dynamic Investment Group Inc. , the Toronto-based plaintiff has effectively acquired the defendant in a court-approved transfer of all its assets.
