The top Philadelphia verdicts and judicial findings in the first half of 2009 included at least seven cases that involve awards of more than $1 million. Four of those cases haven’t been previously reported by The Legal.
Court statistics show that the majority of jury trials so far this year resulted in defense verdicts. Statistics for bench trials showed the results nearly even between plaintiff wins and defense verdicts.
