Hours after a federal judge rejected a motion by two disgraced former Luzerne County judges to reconsider their plea agreements, the duo’s lawyers filed papers formally withdrawing their guilty pleas.

The federal judge overseeing the case had wasted no time in rejecting the ex-judges’ motion to reconsider their plea agreements, handing down his order four days after the motion was filed.
