Recently, in Pennsylvania, judicial conduct has been a frequent topic in the news. The alleged misconduct of judges in Luzerne County, the recent removal of a Philadelphia Municipal Court judge from the bench, the investigation of judges for misuse of court staff and many other stories about the judiciary have been featured.

The Pennsylvania Bar Institute will present “Judicial Autonomy and Accountability: A Fine Line” from noon to 2 p.m. Oct. 15 at the CLE Conference Center, Wanamaker Building, 100 Penn Square East (Juniper Street entrance), suite 1010, Philadelphia. Registration and lunch begin at 11:15 a.m.
