Saul Ewing beat back a legal malpractice suit by a former client who alleged the firm didn’t do enough discovery in an underlying case the client had against the company he formerly ran.
Philadelphia Common Pleas Court Judge Mark I. Bernstein granted Saul Ewing’s motion for summary judgment last month in Still v. Saul Ewing . Plaintiff David Barnes Still has appealed the ruling to the Superior Court, but a counterclaim by Saul Ewing for fees is yet to be decided.
