Equality Advocates Pennsylvania , a nonprofit that provides direct legal services to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender low-income persons in Pennsylvania and works to achieve LGBT equality through education and policy reform, announced that the following people have joined its board of directors: Brian K. Sims , staff counsel for policy and planning for the Philadelphia Bar Association , is the president of the board; Mark L. Usry , associate professor of legal studies at Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg, is vice-president of the board; Ann T. Loftus , a partner at Zateeny Loftus in Bala Cynwyd, is treasurer of the board; and Jay K. Meadway , a member of Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott in Philadelphia, is secretary of the board.

Robert H. Louis , a partner and co-chairman of Saul Ewing ‘s personal wealth, estates and trusts department, will be a featured speaker on Nov. 3 for a Wells Fargo-sponsored seminar, “Strategic Positioning of the Family Business and Wealth.”
