The following sites cover the Rules of Civil Procedure.

* Lexis-Nexis (www.lexis.com). Lexis provides a searchable database for the Rules of Civil Procedure. This database will be found under the general rules database, PARULE.

* Westlaw (www.westlaw.com). Likewise, Westlaw contains the Rules of Civil Procedure in its database, PA-RULES. Among the features that Westlaw provides are specific identifiers for the various rules, for instance, the Rules of Civil Procedure have the identifier, rcp. With this identifier, users can quickly and efficiently retrieve the text of specific rules.

For example for Rule 311 of the Rules of Appellate Procedure, we would enter “fi pa rcp rule 1028″ into the find document box.

* Loislaw (www.loislaw.com). Loislaw also contains a specific database for the Rules of Civil Procedure.

* PaLAWnet (www.palawnet.com). PaLAWnet provides the ability to search the Rules of Civil Procedure at its Rules database.

* Aol.com (members.aol.com/ RulesPA/Civil.html). This Web site offers the full text of the Rules of Civil Procedure. The site cannot be searched by keyword Instead, users can browse through the general listings of the rules, until they find the particular rule they are interested in. The text of the rules is available in .html (Hyper Text Markup Language) format.
