Friends of former Judge Marvin R. Halbert , who spent 27 years on the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas bench before retiring in 2001, are invited to the presentation of his portrait at 4 p.m. Nov. 5 in room 653 of City Hall.

Attending will be Halbert’s family; Judge Sandra Mazer Moss , who presides in room 653; Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas President Judge Pamela Pryor Dembe ; Judge C. Darnell Jones of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania; and retired Judge Edward J. Bradley .
