The Louis D. Brandeis Law Society will present its annual Benjamin F. Levy Community Service Award to Mayer Horwitz at the society’s annual Chanukah Party. The party will include a ceremonial menorah lighting and food and drink. The event also includes the society’s installation of incoming Chancellor Adam E. Laver , incoming Vice Chancellor Judge Sandra Mazer Moss , other officers and new members for 2010.
The party will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Nov. 30 at Conversation Hall in City Hall, Philadelphia. Tickets are $50 for Brandeis Society members and $60 for nonmembers. Special ticket prices are $15 for member law students and member young lawyers (less than two years in practice) and $25 for public service members. A $25 voluntary contribution is requested from members of the judiciary. The event includes a buffet supper and open bar.
