The state Supreme Court has denied a second King’s Bench petition filed by former Luzerne County Common Pleas Court Judge Ann H. Lokuta, writing that her attempts to have a Court of Judicial Discipline judge removed from her case must wait until after the CJD issues a ruling on the after-discovered evidence she recently submitted in an attempt to regain her seat on the bench.
The justices, who previously allowed Lokuta a new hearing and removed her judicial seat from the 2009 electoral ballot, also issued a second order denying the former judge’s petition to have her salary and benefits reinstated.
