The state Supreme Court has been asked to consider for the second time whether a registered nurse is qualified to provide expert testimony to medical causation, but it must first decide whether to waive the issue altogether.
In Harrisburg on Wednesday, the justices heard arguments in Freed v. Geisinger Medical Center , a case it already decided once in favor of the plaintiff this past June.
