A Westmoreland County plaintiff in a products liability case did not assume the risk of injury by using a three-foot cornstalk to loosen corncobs caught in the husking rollers of a mechanical corn picker, a 2-1 Superior Court panel has ruled.

Charles Hadar injured his hand when the corncobs broke loose and the cornstalk he was prodding them with got sucked through the husking rollers.
