A Montgomery County law firm has been blocked, for now, from collecting $42,000 in counsel fees on behalf of a defunct corporation it successfully defended in a civil suit.

In a strongly worded opinion, a Philadelphia judge said that Flamm Boroff & Bacine, of Blue Bell, Pa., could not independently seek to execute the fee award because the judgment is held by a dissolved corporate entity.
