Only weeks after the Securities and Exchange Commission upheld penalties for a prominent Philadelphia bond broker and his firm, Robert J. Bradbury faces allegations he foisted risky municipal bonds upon four central Pennsylvania school districts.

While refusing to say how the investments – which violate state guidelines for school districts – came to its attention, officials with the Securities and Exchange Commission in Philadelphia say the federal lawsuit is part of the office’s continuing focus on municipal bond fraud in Pennsylvania.
