The state Supreme Court split 3-3 in its review of a Commonwealth Court decision to remand a disputed Pittsburgh zoning case over parking for a University of Pittsburgh Medical Center office facility.
With Chief Justice Ralph J. Cappy not participating because of his ties to the university, the court issued a per curiam order Oct. 5 that affirms the Commonwealth Court order in Friendship Preservation Group v. Zoning Board of Adjustment of Pittsburgh (Pa., Oct 5, 2006) per curiam order (1 page).
