On Jan. 7, the Philadelphia Bar Association’s tax section and the Campaign for Working Families will offer a pro bono CLE training program that will qualify participants to serve as certified volunteer tax preparers with the Campaign for Working Families. This program will provide three free CLE credits in exchange for volunteering in late January and February to help low-wage families eligible for the earned income tax credit prepare their income tax returns.
The training program will be held at Pepper Hamilton, 3000 Two Logan Square, 18th and Arch streets, Philadelphia, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Visit www.phillyfreetaxes.org to register for this CLE program and to volunteer with the Campaign for Working Families.
