On Feb. 1, the Homeless Advocacy Project will conduct a free pro bono training for attorneys interested in learning how to handle veterans’ benefits cases, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at Dechert, Cira Center, 2929 Arch St., Philadelphia. HAP staff attorney Michael Taub will conduct the training. For attorneys already accredited, this training meets the three-hour CLE requirement to maintain certification by the Veteran’s Administration.
For attorneys not yet certified who are interested in certification, contact Michael Taub at [email protected] or Cary Moritz at [email protected] before the training. Note that CLE credits cannot be awarded unless certification applications have been submitted and approved by the Veteran’s Administration prior to the training. Register for this program with Cary Moritz at [email protected]. Breakfast will be provided.
