Protection From Abuse orders can apply to siblings who work together but do not share a residence or even a social life outside of the office, an en banc panel of the Superior Court ruled.

In Custer v. Cochran, PICS Case No. 07-1501 (Pa. Super. Sept. 24, 2007) Todd, J.; Ford Elliott, P.J. (23 pages) the court found that the 1990 amendments to the Protection From Abuse Act expanded its use beyond just parties who live in the same household.
