It’s difficult to look at Tuesday’s election of women to four of the five appellate court seats up for grabs in Pennsylvania and not surmise there’s a common thread between the victories.
Some courtroom observers greeted the win by the four female candidates as a watershed moment for gender representation in the Commonwealth’s court system, but more skeptical observers said it was just a result of other factors.
