2007 turned out to be a pretty good year for Pittsburgh’s legal community. Associate starting salaries rocketed. Pepper Hamilton LLC offered first year associates $145,000, while Reed Smith increased their starting rates from $110,000 to $135,000.

There were also a few mergers, most recently, the former law firm of Miller Alfano & Raspanti joining Pietragallo Bosick & Gordon thus becoming Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP.
