Elected and Appointed

Following Gov. Edward G. Rendell’s appointment, the state Senate unanimously voted Gaetano Piccirilli, of White & Williams’ litigation department, to the state Real Estate Commission. He began his five-year term June 17, when he was officially sworn in at the commission’s monthly meeting in Harrisburg. The commission grants and renews licenses to real estate brokers and salespersons, administers and enforces the laws of the commonwealth relating to real estate activities for which licensing is required, and establishes requirements for continuing education to be met by licensed brokers and salespersons as a condition of their renewal. Piccirilli’s practice focuses on construction litigation and liability.
