The 3rd Circuit might be one of the most respected courts in the country and it produced the newest U.S. Supreme Court justice, but in June it made a mistake of epic proportions.

The court’s decision to uphold a ruling allowing a judge to keep an entire case docket and all the filings related to the case secret is one of the most anti-democratic and shocking rulings I’ve ever seen.
