A public official with ties to a central figure in the Luzerne County corruption probe will cooperate with federal authorities as their investigation continues, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced last week.

And as the pace of the investigation increased, a fourth Luzerne County court official was arrested and charged Feb. 20 with altering a juvenile probation record to impede federal court proceedings.
