Q: As a judge, what are the limits if I choose to take on responsibilities outside of my judicial activities?
A: First, a judge may not use any public assets in engaging in a side business. The trappings of the judicial office — things like computers, meeting rooms or a car provided by the state — must never be used to support any outside of business activity.
