Local attorneys are sharing their experiences to help educate La Salle University students on the connection between the law in real life and the law on film. A new class at the Philadelphia school, “Film and Law,” taught by Br. Gerald Molyneaux, a communications professor, aims to give students an opportunity to witness how professional attorneys analyze law-related films.

Molyneaux, of the De La Salle Christian Brothers, received his undergraduate degree from La Salle and has been teaching at the school for 35 years. When he asked Timothy O’Toole, a former corporate attorney, to speak to the class, O’Toole said he was happy to oblige.
