The makers of Coppertone brand and Neutrogena sunscreens fought to a tie this month in a court battle where each side accused the other of making false advertising claims.
Both sides emerged a little burned but also victorious when a federal judge declared that each company had violated both federal and state laws by making misleading claims of superiority in ads that directly compared their products.
