When Samuel R. Grego took a pro bono child custody case, his client got legal help not by walking into a legal clinic but by approaching nuns who run a wellness center in a river town near Pittsburgh.

The Sisters of St. Francis Neighborhood Wellness Center in Millvale refers many of its clients to a legal clinic it hosts once a month that is staffed with attorney volunteers from Pittsburgh firm Dickie McCamey & Chilcote. The Millvale Community Clinic is one of 10 pro bono projects organized by the Pittsburgh Pro Bono Partnership and staffed by volunteer attorneys from 32 law firms and corporations.
