There isn’t much George R. Burrell Jr. hasn’t done when it comes to his professional life – large-firm lawyer, small-firm lawyer, founding partner, state government, city government, corporations. The only thing missing was a stint as a general counsel, and he checked that off the list in 2008.
In October 2008, Burrell was named general counsel and executive vice president of PRWT Services Inc., which its Web site identifies as “one of the nation’s fastest growing minority enterprises [... with] service offerings including a wide range of business process solutions, large-scale facilities management, and manufacturing and value added services for the life sciences industry. “
